Negative Thoughts and Negative Feelings are not the same thing. Feelings, whether we label them “good” or “bad,” are not harmful and are a natural part of existence that is in its pure essence simply the experience of consciousness. They ebb and flow like waves. Remember that a huge wave of feeling may tumble you and leave you wondering what end is up, bringing about the sense that you are drowning, but it really only lasts for a few moments before it ebbs back into version that is more manageable.
